UPDATE: The drive issue has become much worse than I initially thought and I am unsure of the amount of time it is going to take to fix. I have refunded orders so if you have made a purchase, please be on the lookout for that. Closed until further notice

Isn’t it Murphy’s law that says if it can go wrong it will? Well, that’s exactly what has happened to me! It seems that every time my husband leaves something goes wrong…in this case it is the computer. I was happily working away last night and the computer starts making a weird humming noise. 5 minutes later I can’t access my file folder with all of my banners, avatars, etc. Fast forward to this morning and still nothing. I chatted on Facebook with him but it looks like there is nothing he can do until he gets home on Saturday.

Super Fall Sale and SOOOO much more!

So I’m finally back and ready to go! Morning sickness has subsided for the most part and I’m feeling so much better. I’ve been busy the past few weeks working on some new things and also getting prepared for this sale:)

The first thing I want to talk about is the new marketing ads. I’ve made some Halloween themed ones and these are just so fun. I really love them because you can throw them in your packages or even just hang them up around town(grocery store, library, the possibilities are endless!)

I also put together some new ideas I’ve had brewing in my head. I’ve been toying with the idea of making some seasonal themed bow cards and I’ve started with Halloween(of course!) I will be putting out some Christmas, Valentines Day, and lots of others as those holidays get closer. Here is a preview of what I have for the Halloween cards:

I have also added some more print options in the shop. You can now have your bow cards, hang tags, and gift certificates printed in the shop. Each item will be printed on one sheet of 110 lb cardstock and you will be responsible for cutting the designs out. This way I can keep costs low. 1 sheet is 1.00, 1 sheets is 2.00 and so on. Business card printing is also offered.

I’m sure you all have been waiting patiently for a coupon code, and as promised, here it is! SUPERFALL50OFF. This coupon code will save you 50% off your entire order until Sunday at midnight. SRDS is now open!

Hey everyone! I have been on a break for about a month and a half and I can finally let you all know why:) Our family is expecting a baby and I have been extremely sick with morning/all day sickeness. I also felt it was important for me to take it easy in the beginning weeks so that was why I closed down my shop. I am now however feeling great and I’m ready to get back to work! I’ve got some really exciting things planned for the next few weeks including a holiday marketing set which will be themed with a holiday such as halloween, black Friday, Christmas, etc. These kits will include a marketing postcard, marketing ad for posting on facebook, a small round label to put on packages and a fun business card. I am so excited to start making these! I will also be working on holiday marketing cards only. I will be starting with Halloween and working my way towards Christmas. These should be available next week some time:)

I will also be adding more printing options in my shop. I have a very nice printer which will enable me to offer high quality prints for a lower price. Be sure to check out the listings in the shop!

Grand Re-opening coming SOON!

Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I’ve posted but the summer just seems to pull me away from the shop! There is a lot going on over here and I have a lot to cover, so let’s get to it, shall we?

First off, I’ve decided to have a grand re-opening, complete with a sale(Of course). I’m hoping to get everything launched by August 1st.  Here are some new features of the shop:

New listing photos for print items: I recently ordered a bunch of new printables through moo.com. I will be replacing the made to match listing avatars with actual photos of what everything will look like printed, such as postcards, labels, earring cards, bow cards, etc. I decided to change the format a bit and I’m super excited! With this new format you can see exactly what your products could look like with our designs.

New Designs: I  added over 20 new designs to the shop but it isn’t going to stop there! I have so many more ideas that I’ve got, I just haven’t had the time to sit down and design them. I will also have a full line of marketing postcards for the holidays as well. I’ve gotten a lot of requests for Christmas, Christmas in July, Halloween, Valentine’s day, Halloween, etc. These will all be complete and ready for purchase in time for the grand re-opening. Also, if you ever have an idea for a shop set feel free to send us your ideas! We are always looking for new, fun things to create.

New SRDS Logo: YAY! I have come up with a super adorable new logo and I will be revealing that with the grand re-opening as well.

Print Shop: You can now have all of your items printed for one low price! I have an amazing laserjet printer that prints beautifully and I will now be able to provide all of my customers with print items. The listings will be in the shop as well as on the website. You will be able to purchase business cards, labels by the sheet, bow cards, postcards, anything you can think of!

New website: I’ve recently started using wix.com for my website and I have to say, I love it! I have the personal and creative freedom to make beautiful websites without knowing any html(thank goodness!). I’ve finished with the new SRDS website and I will release it with the grand opening.

Websites: You can now purchase a matching website from SRDS. As I said above, I can use wix.com to create a beautiful website for you and I have the ability to transfer it to you when I have completed it. If you do not have a logo or design from SRDS, no worries. I can use your logo for an additional fee. This includes free e-commerce ability on your website. You will be responsible for adding content of course:)

With all of that being said, I’m sure some of you noticed I haven’t been working in the shop as much lately. True, the summer and kids being home does take up a lot of my time but there is also something else that has been keeping me busy. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer about a month ago. They found a spot on her liver and we were hoping it was going to be just that, a spot. She had further tests done and they concluded that it is indeed cancer. A few days later she had more tests to see if there was cancer anywhere else. Sadly, it has spread to her hips, near her heart and in her lymph nodes. She will be starting chemo and radiation this week. I just wanted to share with you all so you all are in the know:) It is a hard time for all of us right now but I am staying positive:) Thank you all for your continued support and well wishes, it really means a lot to me and especially her.

So, be on the lookout for some major changes to the shop. I  am so excited!
